Despite starting the day with heavy rains and high winds, Friends of Muskoka got in their boats and in some cases travelled great distances to demonstrate against waterfront residential subdivisions in Muskoka. Just prior to the planned 2PM start time, the rain stopped as several hundred boats descended on Wallace Bay. At 2:30 PM, we all SOUNDED THE ALARM.
If we didn’t reach the developers with that incredible blast of unity, we hope that we reached the candidates and the remaining electorate on the importance of this issue to the future of Muskoka for the upcoming election.
