After the May 18th meeting where councillors voted 8-2 in favour of pausing development applications in the Village of Minett, Councillor Jean-Ann Baranik moved to reconsider the bylaw. Fortunately for Minett and Muskoka, Council voted 7 -3 in favour of keeping the bylaw in place – effectively pausing development until comprehensive impact studies can be completed.
